Pedal Power Bike Shop has been committed to making a community impact since 1973. With the belief that the bicycle is the key in solving a number of social problems, Pedal Power is the corporate sponsor of the Lexington Bike Summit and the presenting sponsor of Bike Lexington. In keeping with our dedication to being an integral part of the "solution," Pedal Power donates hundreds of bikes to many in our community, through our non-profit "Shifting Gears" program as well as through "The Nest" (a center for women, children, and families in Lexington). We are dedicated to ongoing improvement within our business through our participation in trade shows, mechanic schools and advocacy workshops. One of our goals is to keep as many bikes on the road as possible.
